About the event
5th Wave Collective presents "Modern Baroque", a concert of contemporary works that were inspired by music of the Baroque era (approximately 1600 to 1750). The program will feature music by Lera Auerbach, Andrea Tarrodi, and more, plus a special performance of Ruby Fulton's "the girl who cried pain", written for 5th Wave flutist Anatolia Evarkiou-Kaku just this year.Â
This performance will take place in person. Registration is FREE, but capacity is limited. Please click the button above (or below) to RSVP (you will be taken to Eventbrite to register). $10 suggested donations at the door will support both 5th Wave Collective and Heaven Gallery.
Not in Chicago? Don't worry! We will record and rebroadcast this concert on our YouTube channel and Facebook page, for viewing by our friends near and far. The concert will stream on December 17 at 7pm CT. Streaming links coming soon.Â
